My blood boils when I hear the media brats go on and on about the girl who was killed because she was standing next to a Hezbollah terrorist standing next to her but leave all this out. And not to mention the deranged reporter I heard comparing it to an attack on the us pentagon

Tim Walz, and Kamala Harris when she is being honest, both are of the "But Israel has to do more to protect civilians!" school of non-thought. Most media are mindless shills for leftists. I think many people quietly are applauding Israel's brilliance, and espionage writers are simply whistling in awe.

People Love Dead Jews but they Hate Heroic Jews

That's a general inaccuracy. There are and always have been a great many people and People who love, admire, and respect and study the Jewish People as well as Jewish individuals in any field. Certainly at least 40% of Jewish persons are antisemitic.

Well said and it so needs to be said!

"You chose to start it. You don’t get to determine how it will end."

People forget so quickly what was done to the Israelis living on the border; men women and children. They forget that Hamas is committed to the destruction of Israel. They forget that this is essentially a spiritual war against the people of G-d, and that He is bringing them home from all over the world to turn their hearts back to Himself..

The West is in decline. It has turned its back on the G-d of the Bible. Israel should ignore the criticisms.

While in general I agree, I want to mention that it's not clear how targeted this truly was. It's possible non Hezbollah people also had the pagers and bystanders were hurt as well. The small explosions also may could have caused horrendous, disfiguring injuries to the eyes, hands, and face. I don't say this to pass judgment as to whether this was right or wrong, and for that matter the facts are hardly even known yet so any sort of judgment would be premature. But I would suggest we relate to this with 'koved rosh' and we say in Hebrew, a somber sort of gravity, rather than celebration.

This is much more targeted than any standard military attack. This is about as targeted as you can possibly get!

In view of the Israel Defense Force claim that it does not target civilians and tries to protect them as much as possible when bombing Hamas terrorists (and has shown this to be true too), it seems unlikely that the exploding pagers were caused through an Israeli spy network. It is unlikely that we will ever get the true data of how many people were injured or killed due to this action of exploding pagers, and there probably will be some exaggerated figures available soon. Electronic warfare has been secretly going on for some time, so the true numbers may never be known.

I cheer this operation for its ingenuity and precision... and for striking directly at the members of an evil and dangerous terrorist group.

That said, we should be precise in our statements. Hezbollah currently is not trying to kill all the Israeli civilians it can. That's not a good read of the ongoing rocket war. Not that they are morally opposed - they have done much worse - but that they have been calibrating their escalation (likely together with Iran). I think Israel is right to change the terms of escalation here but we should be aware that Hezbollah has several rungs they can climb as well.

I have the impression that these exploding electronic pagers were manufactured in Thailand. Presumably they contained lithium-cell batteries, which are sensitive to rapid discharge and become heated and can even explode if this discharge is sufficiently rapid. This problem has occurred before on Boeing civil aircraft, where fires in the battery compartment caused the emergency landing of a few flights, before this difficulty was overcome. However the manufacturers of the pagers illegally provided them with a code that when activated would rapidly discharge the electrical power being stored in the batteries. A astute spying organization had only to discover this code and to transmit it, to cause the resulting disaster. Be careful and check the maker of your electronic device--a battle to be waged on this potential situation may be forthcoming!

This essay uses superb craftsmanship. A superb wordsmith. Thank you. So many Jewish essayists, journalists in all medias use a majority of negative framing. I am not a journalist and I am not a 'writer' in the formal sense. I write in my own way which is often 'talmudic' not in terms of wisdom but in terms of convoluted, tangential ways and means to get to a point. Sometimes even tedious. Very 'Frank Sinatra' i.e. "I did it my way". That doesn't prevent me from commenting about writing or syntax. One sentence I'd like to see adjusted is: ". (Once that’s achieved, they’ll come for the rest of the Jews who live elsewhere.)". The 'once that's achieved' could use something like - 'They imagine that is achievable (it isn't) and they imagine then they could (they can't) will go after Jews who live elsewhere.' In other words, here the use momentary use of 'negative' would or might be more appropriate?
